《新编跨文化交际英语教程》 (高等教育十一五国家级规划教材)

自"跨文化交际英语教程"(2004)出版以来,在许多学校广泛使用,受到师生们的普遍欢迎。在几年来教学实践经验和各地教材使用者反馈的基础上,经过将近一年的准备和半年左右的紧张修订工作,教材现在以"新编跨文化交际英语教程"命名并重新出版。
这次的"新编"在许多方面和原有"教程"相比有了实质性的变化,除了总体框架基本维持原状外,其具体内容与细节编排上都有相当大的改动,删去了一些略嫌过时或不太适用的内容,增加了很多新的材料与分析案例,即使保留下来的也有不同程度的修改和调整,并补充了不少新的练习,力求使教材更具时代性,更适合英语专业的教学实际和学生的需求,也更有利于教师生动活泼地进行教学。
全书仍分为10个单元,涉及全球化时代的交际问题、文化与交际、各类文化差异、语言与文化、跨文化言语交际、跨文化非言语交际、时间与空间使用上的文化、跨文化感知、跨文化适应、跨文化能力等,包括了跨文化交际的各个方面,对其中一些重要问题都有相对深入的介绍与探讨。各单元形式基本统一,均以阅读文章为主线,配有形式多样的练习和较多数量的案例分析,同时还提供了比较丰富的相关文化背景知识材料,供选择使用,以满足不同的教学情境和需求。考虑到教材的学习者英语程度可能高低不同,此次还大幅度增加了较为详细的注释,以方便使用。"新编"中没有像以前那样在书后附上部分练习的参考答案,因为我们另编有一本与之配套的"教师手册",其中会提供更加全面、详尽的练习参考提示以及有关参考资料。
