It is early summer and a boyfriend and girlfriend commit suicide in a field of flowers. He survives. The girlfriend has a younger sister whose name is Natsuko who cannot understand why her sister killed herself. She leaves school and her hometown, moves to Tokyo and meets the man to find answers.
